Tourism
- Tourism In 1893 the south coast
railway line was extended to Bomaderry. Horse drawn coaches
continued to Jervis Bay. Tourists would arrive at Huskission and
other surrounding areas. George Dent opened a hotel at Huskission
(at its present location) to cater for the tourists and holiday
makers needs. This was the start of the popularity of Jervis Bay
as a pleasure and holiday destination.
