Flat water meant we could motor out across the bay that night ready for the dive the next morning. First dive was at Spiders Cave where nestling PJ's huddled together in crevices. Collected a snorkel and weight on the dive, was instructed to find a mask on the next dive…aiming for the full kit after that.

Watching for whales and dolphins, with a view to die for…this team of divers encountered a weekend of wonderful weather and diving. They even experienced a beautiful sunset followed by an eerie rising of the full moon…much of the crew howled with delight as they celebrated their dives they’d done and the dives to come.

A small hole in the dry suit lead to the dreaded one wet leg syndrome. Another dry suit blown wrist seal was repaired by our intrepid crew while being watched by a few spectators who were only there to get high on the glue fumes.

Weedy Sea Dragons were plenty and pictures promise to be great. Loads of Port Jackson sharks meant you had to be careful when exploring under ledges and between rocks. Great visibility, heaps of colour and wild life! A fantastic weekend …. Compounded by the mysterious watch.

After Weedy Valley we headed across the bay to the Docks area and dived into the unknown murky depths where we meandered around poking our torches and heads into all sorts of crevasses, overhangs and caves hunting for all sorts of goodies. A couple of (rare) blue devil fish were at the double decker caves and inside there were two stone fish on ledges on both sides of the cave just like gargoyles.
