Last 4Days of 2006 28th-31st December 2006
"Lets get out of Melbourne and get some warmer weather. I’ve booked a trip with Lyn and Mick on Ocean Trek so we can do some serious diving in Jervis Bay" Well the diving was great but Melbourne weather followed us! Don’t let me forget to mention the food. Four days on board saw us doing numerous visits to the ocean floor to gaze at sleeping wobbygongs the size of refrigerators, lots of very animated cuttlefish and too many other fish to mention. Did I mention the food? Carly the wonder chef fed us a storm of home made tucker that is seriously the best I have eaten on a live aboard boat ever! The staff were very helpful and friendly….genuinely friendly, like we were old acquaintances. Thank you for a terrific four days. Did I mention the food? Ok, well I am off to Jenny Craig now. see you next time. Regards, Kerry Hall.
"The Muppets" from Melbourne, once again came onboard. People mentioned the so call bad vis, but we thought it was great, 8meteres plus. The things down below were amazing. Second trip this year and it was just as good as we rembered. The boat support teams was fantastic. Once again that you very much!! Always an enjoyable trip. Loved the weedy sea dragons, good to see a few grey nurse sharks and the odd cuttlefish. We’ll be back and can’t wait till next time Deb & Keith Thanks for a great trip, It was my first time on Ocean Trek, although my husband Peter had been on board before and mentioned how great it was, the trip lived up to expectations. A really slick operation, so well organised. Even though I spent every dive "freezing" the boat was comfortable enough to warm up in-between. The Crew were fantastic!!! They made you feel very comfortable and were very obliging. Thanks to all the other passengers for also keeping us entertained. Marianne and Peter Another great trip even if the weather was against us and the doona monsters attacked often, the diving done was awesome and the new friends met also awsome.Boris Another great trip for me too and hope I have some great shots and video of the grey nurses – so beautiful – other critters too very obliging for the camera, cuttlefish of various sizes, blue devils, heaps of Nudibranchs, etc, etc. Thanks to my dive buddy Christine. Hope to see you all again soon, The Vicster. Had great time .Enjoyed the challenges of the courses … thanks to Dominic again for his time and patience …thanks to Darren for his diving tips and great dive together. special thanks to my roomy and dive buddy Vicky for finding the grey nurses and to Lyn for the camera and photography tips. This is the only way to dive … great spot great company Chris This was my surprise Xmas present from my daughter –who accompanied me. Great time, fab food and even better jokes and magic from our meal buddies. This was our first time on OT and don’t believe that it wil be our last – we could be back. Despite me trying to "hang" on the anchor there was no pressure to continue but great support from all the crew. Wazza your amazing and get that camera going!!! So much patience and support from all, and the bonus was catching up with my old buddy from a few little years ago – go Clancy!!! Dene and Mardee
