Dragon Hunting with Ben

24th February 2006

What an amazing weekend started with thunderstorm cold and murky water. A pretty good size cuttle fish, nudi but no weedy until the dusk dive, three with eggs. Still cloudy in Sunday morning but the water clears up and warmer. We found wobbegong, horn shark and WEEDY again. Very beautiful and definitely worth the visit. Thank to everyone onboard. They are very friendly. The food is great. The dive are well planned and arranged. A first class operation and we recommend it. Ben & Colice from Hong Kong.

A great weekend away. One of the best run dive boats I have been on. The marine life in Jervis is always fantastic and the night life aboard was at the very least entertaining. Can’t wait to come back.

An awesome weekend away. The staff on the dive boat were extremely friendly and so so helpful. Very professionally run. The food was amazing. The diving started out OK but just got better and better and better. Thank you so much for having us aboard, cannot wait to be back for some more seedy wee dragons! Thank you.

It was fabulous! First time in this area. I did my classes and had a lot of fun at the same time. Lots to see. Wobbys, octopuses, devil fish, sea dragons. Took some really good photos. Had fantastic land views as well. Thanks much. Will come here again.

A fantastic weekend with 6 comfortable dives. I never saw a weedy sea dragon before but now I have seen dozens. This trip keeps getting better and better. There is nothing like a hot freshly baked fruit muffin with a hot cup of tea being handed to you as you come out of the water. The food was gourmet standard and the group camaraderie was excellent. Can’t wait to come back. Cheap as well. Stephen

It was the best of times it was the worst of times the weekend started like a bad high school play the props were all ready but the stage was in a shambles the water temps were from 16-22 and unpredictable, however the vis was the killer, I felt like being booed of stage, however any day underwater is better than a day at work. The Sunday dives were a lot better and filled my need for model shots with many very proud weedys in my scope, in all a good weekend.

This was my third time on the boat and will be back! The weekend seems like a holiday – great accommodation, the food is delicious, the people are fun and the diving is well organised! The only improvement areas are the weather over and under water and the vis! Mick tried hard and finally, on Sunday, got us the vis we deserved! The wobbies, pj’s, weedys and octopus all held still for the photos, and the beautiful little yellow boxfish made it onto our pictures as well. A great holiday-weekend! I’ll be back!
