Gordon Breaks Free at Easter 6th-9th April 2007
It’s the last morning on board and I couldn’t eat another thing ( or drink another thing for that matter). But once again the diving’s been hassle free and rewarding. Encounters with the largest cuttle fish and bull ray I’ve ever seen being my diving highlights, but the real highlight has been the on board nightlife, and Gordon if you really do want to break free YOU GO GIRL When we embarked on this Easter weekend trip, we didn’t expect to bump into such a "unique" bunch of "oldies" from Albury Descend Dive Club! Good thing we had Ken, Wazza, and Kenny to make sure we had air before we jumped in and to get back to the boat in one piece…and picking up after us (e.g. mask, fin, weight belt that we dropped….). All in all, a great trip – and now we can finally do a proper safety stop! Woo hoo!! Gordon – you’re scary! Thanks once more to Mick and Lyn for a great Easter, diving was great and the food was good too. It was a great introduction to real diving seeing as though I had only been in 1m vis this was the tropics to me. Many thanks, Elspeth. Another Easter aboard ocean trek and plenty of good food and with Gordon on board plenty of good humour!!!Need I say anymore. Ooooohhhhhhh man it was the bestest trip ever. The food was fabio, loved it so much. I sssssooooo want a come back again and also the snorkelling was fabio. Don’t forget I have a lovely bunch of coconuts. From lovely Chris jnr. Thankyou so much Lyn and Heey Baby. (Austin Mick Powers). If all fails mate you make a great DJ. Frank and I had a great time again, although a little eventful but will most certainly be back. Once again a fantastic trip, even though the weather wasn’t the best we still had some fantastic dives which is one reason that Jervis Bay is our favourite dive spot. It doesn’t matter what happens with the weather, there is always some place you can go to get a decent dive in. Bowen Island was great with close to 30metre viz on some dives. Huge bull rays, giant cuttlefish, friendly octopi and countless weedy sea dragons to name just a few of the friendly critters we saw. The food was fantastic as always, the crew were great and the nightlife wasn’t too bad either! Many thanks to Mick & Lyn and to Wazza, Ken & Ken also.
