Alex’s Night Dive

27th May 2007

What can I say? There’s nothing quite like a dive at night with Alex. Very interesting! While watching Scuba Lou hang upside down on the mooring line, I had the sudden realisation that maybe, just maybe I’ll make it out alive… Only kidding, I had a great time and lovely dives with a terrific bunch of people. As usual the boat and crew were fantastic! Thanks again, Fiona B.

Never been on a night dive before, but I am sure to do one again… I don’t think the conditions could have been more perfect… The light from the moon was enough to see at about 12 meters… Enough for me to see my Sydney Swans Beanie hat wearing buddy anyway (go Doc go)… I have had a great time on this, my first dive trip since my open water 12 months ago. There is just too much to see here on one weekend, so Ocean Trek, see you again real soon. Thanks all, and thanks Xela Kaz. Jon B (I love you Gary).

Fantastic trip. Not only the night dive but all of them. The vis was brilliant, the weather perfect, and the diving, spectacular. I’ll be back. Thanks guys, Ben

This is my 2nd trekky experience, first time was a cold wet weekend last November, and for some reason the weather and conditions in MAY seem to have been like November should have been! Perfect, great vis, beautiful sunshine and this time we rounded up our mates to come with us and share the fun. So glad we did – great to share the experience, we’ll be talking about it for ages! Bit gutted we never made it to bum crack rock, the whore house and condom point.. feel a tad cheated we only went to sites with politically correct names.. but hey – NEXT TIME. Thanks to all the crew – especially the perpetually insane Hattie. (Dory)

Xx Cath

Thanks Trekkiers (and Dory) Service was wonderful and diving even better. Can’t believe how great the weather & water was and vis much better than I had expected. In fact, it was probably all much better that expected. The dive sites are really varied and lots to see. Especially Boat Harbour & the Dock. Thanks all for great week-end (and special thanks from R-Bear for friends and Vodka. Teddy’s unite!

Thank you for putting up with me!! As a virgin to the Ocean Trek I was more than impressed and will definitely be back (watch out!!) Crew were professional, helpful but most of all good for a laugh and all round a top bunch of people! Awesome food as well! I’ve had such an awesome weekend and definitely looking forward to coming back for more fun, frivolity and, oh yeah, diving! Thanks again folk… Lou PS – Mick I’m sorry for looking up your pants!

Cheers to the incredibly friendly and professional Ocean Trek team. From pre-dive brief to the lovely meals, the crew made everything easy and enjoyable…I particularly enjoyed rolled up hot towels and hot beverages waiting for us. I have to agree with Cath that we should have made it to at least the Whore House, so I could talk about it on Monday. However, Doc did tickle a cuttlefish in its naughty bits (if they had any) Always something new to learn. and then carved up a sea urchin, so that to me is worth several dives up the Bum Crack. An unforgettable time with no less unforgettable people. Best, Nicole

What a perfect weekend! Loved our crew, the merry company, the beautiful sunny weather and big spreads…and the diving was just magical, so much life down there!

Another great day in pardise.Great diving with good companionship and excellent

Gourmet food. As always the crew do a good job so everything runs smoothly and safely. Thank you Colin for showing me the finer points of diving. There is always

Something new to learn and enjoy. Looking forward to coming back in two weeks to do my Nitrox course on the long weekend.

Many thanks Lyn and Mick.

Best wishes

Doc.
