"Birthday Boys" 16th March 2008
Indepth Scuba celebrated the birthdays of Norm (the owner) and Matt W (divemaster) with a great weekend’s diving on the Ocean Trek. We won’t mention their ages, out of deference and respect to our senior citizens, nor Norm’s amazing constitution, which saw him retire early on Saturday night. He claimed illness, but we all know he is getting on a bit and can’t handle the grog like he could in his younger days. A fun time was had by everyone, who enjoyed great weather, calms seas and good visibility that made for some fantastic dives. Thanks to Mick, Lynn and all the Ocean Trek crew for their fine hospitality and service (as usual). We especially enjoyed Hattie’s Zorba the Greek dance, limbo and bum dances – an experience not to be missed’ and one none of us will ever forget. The best things you can say about a live-aboard ? You’ll never go hungry and you won’t be left behind. Both true of Ocean Trek. Loved it!
Rachael says: Good. Fun. View got better everytime Chris took his shirt off. Peter and the rest of the crew are awesome people. I will dive for the rest of my life. Lucy says: Crew and instructors are awesome. Everyone was very friendly. Love to come back. Hattie is a great dancer. I will now keep diving for the rest of my life. Another great weekend on Ocean Trek. The bears didn’t play up, the people did this time. Great weather, great diving, great food, great company, just what you want from a weekend on the water, and the fish were friendly too! I look forward to coming back again, and Hattie, you can always get in the way. ;-) Happy Birthay Boys!!!! Tanya Greatest way to learn with great people that really know how to make it all go right Beware of the dance tape when Hattie gets going, but I’ll time warp again the next time I come back.
