It’s now the end of the Gang Trip for me. I’ve been on board Ocean Trek for 9 days now and I’m dive out.

It’s been a wonderful time and I look forward to returning in 2010 to do it all over again

It’s now the end of 7 days diving, I’ve had a great week on board. Good, but very cold water at times. Finally got a fantastic picture of an Eastern Blue Devil (it’s only takewayn me 7 years to get the perfect shot) but well worth it as I got to spend that time with Lyn, Mick and their great crew. Looking forward to next year, but before that Bali in July. Also very nice to meet the wonderful crew from Pro Dive Nelson Bay.

It’s my 2^nd ‘Ocean Trek’ in a few years & its re-enforced what a great way to enjoy a dive w/end.

Even though the viz wasn’t good as the previous trip, the ‘Narki Knomes’ from Nelson Bay & the hospitality of Lyn, Mick & the crew made it all worthwhile.

Some how I managed to persuade Pam & Chris to let me lead the group of ‘Narki Gnome Explorers’ from Pro Dive Nelson Bay on my first trip aboard Ocean Trek and my first liveaboard. Was an awesome weekend, with everything a diver could want dive new interesting sites, eat like a king, watch the sun go down with a beer in hand and sleep to the gentle roll of the boat and the sounds of the ocean. The dive sites were spectactular, with unlimited swim throughs, cracks and cave to explore. All surrounded by schools of bait fish, and filled with blue devil fish and alike for the photo fanatics. With everyone complaining about the vis I though ‘WOW’ imagine this on a good day!

All in all good diving, good boat, GREAT people.
