Ok you don’t leave your buddy with the scooters while you take a sneaky cause when cant you cant find him , its not good ! the cure to stupidity is more training .BRUCE thanks crew!
What an awesome weekend! With the boat trips in Sydney cancelled because of the 4m swell, we were crossing our fingers Jervis Bay would be better. And how lucky were we? The worst visibility we had was 15m! In a year of diving in Sydney, I’ve seen 1 Eastern Blue Devil – on one dive today, I saw two!! Oh, and would you like to see a Fiddler Ray? How about 15? They were everywhere!! The cutest thing though, were the baby Port Jacksons!!! They were adorable… so cute, I wanted to take one home!! ;-). The crew were awesome and made sure everyone had MORE then enough food to eat. Would recommend the trip to anyone! Can’t wait to come again.
Breakfast – bacon & eggs, pancakes. Lunch – tacos. Dinner – roast pork and vegies. I could get used to this. Hot showers after a dive. Oh and the diving. Great viz. A big group of fiddler rays, mama, papa and baby squids, blue gurnard. Got our own fan cveclub – a school of chinaman leather jackets decided to follow us – maybe they heard there was great food on the boat! Tried the underwater scooters – they were fun! Thanks for a great intro to live-aboard diving.
A great time has been had by all. The fish were amazing, we also went looking for a grey nurse but I don’t know if I really wanted to find it. My mate decided to leave me on the bottom to go and have a look on the surface, neadless to say that he couldn’t find me. After some cursing I managed to find my way home. He will be hearing about it for a while. Always good to go home with a story.
