Blue azure seas, great massive purple boulders glimmering in the light. Cuttlefish basking in the sun. Schools of yellowtail inspecting us closely. Gloomy, close and cold, fish and rays hiding tightly under ledges. From one extreme to the other.

Great relaxing weekend, great food, great people and great crew from the observer.

The cook provided much entertainment, especially when seen applying sun screen to her feet on Saturday night, apparently cooky was concerned at the light pressure that the moon was generating!

Thanks to the nudies, bleakers devilfish, wobbies, octopus, bullseyes, old wives, yellowtail, cuttlefish, weedy seadragons, angelsharks, blue gropers and everything else that put on such a magnificent display for us. Even the weather was kind to us!

A fantastic weekend. Great diving, great buddies, great crew. Almost spotted the mythical Red Indian. Seeing the weedies, the turtle, the friendly gig blue groper, the Blue Devil Fish and the exotic nudibranchs made for a feast of marine life interactions. I would love to come again. Where’s the Weedy’s Pat? We asked all weekend and then on the last part of the last dive, we were suddenly surrounded by them. What a great weekend. Great food, great company, great advice and most of all great diving. We saw cuttlefish, huge range of fish and nudibranches, a turtle and most of all several Weedy Sea Dragons. We even saw some Eastern Blue Devil Fish. Thanks Lyn, Mick, Ken, Andrew and most of all Hattie for good humour and good food. Love the water pistol. Thanks also to Pat, when’s the next one? Sandie
