"X"-Argo’s Plus
19th May 2009

Once again into the warm friendly waters of Jervis Bay. 21C, viz out to 20m. Weedys, wobbies and schooling fish by the bucketload. Saw my first south coast turtle. Thanks again to the OT crew for conducting a great weekend.

Thanks again to Mick, Lyn, Ken & Carly for another FANTASTIC weekend on Ocean Trek. My first lot of dives for a very long, long time (8 years, can’t be that long??) Felt like a little kid on Christmas Eve – very excited to be getting back into the water again with my favourite dive buddies, Ross & Sean. I was ready to go with new wetsuit and boots (after replacing my 20year old boots). Time does fly & after this weekend it just highlights what I’ve been missing – my love of the water and marine life. Mick and Lyn made sure I was enjoying it again and guess what – I DID– LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! Enjoyed not only underneath the water but the crew is always attentive and treat you like family, which is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. A special thanks to Lyn for sorting a couple of things out for me – it was greatly appreciated J which made diving a better experience. Also, a thank you to James for organising the "X" – Argo weekend. Some really nice dive spots and dives – couldn’t ask for a better weekend. See you again soon.

Why do I even bother looking at the weather reports before coming down. Doom and gloom came to naught as the rain stayed away while we had fantastic dives around the Nursery Steps and Aztec City Wall. Weedy Seadragons galore, rays, even a turtle! Thanks to Mick, Lyn, and crew for another outstanding diving weekend.
