So Friday ‘arvo the anticipation and excitement in the Ashmore's VW Golf to Jervis Bay was getting all too much for ever so impatient Monkey…..

Once on board I was the first to set up my gear, like a good Monkey, got in my dry suit, curled up on the bench and waited for morning.

Saturday morning, glorious weather, wonderful company and the ever so adorable crew set sail to our first dive site.

With my Advanced course and Nitrox course students all geared up and ready to go, the adventure began, Dolphins, Seals, Octopus, LOTS of sharks, squids, blue devil fish and the all the usual suspects made lots of happy divers.

A huge thanks to the team on Ocean Trek, it has been a truly amazing weekend. Having started the adventure with a fear of Sharks, I can say I am leaving with much calmer thoughts after seeing millions of Port Jackson's. Hatti, you are a true diamond, the whole adventure has been amazing, really great crowd, fantastic boat, lots of yummy food, a real must do again very soon. Thanks for Having us. See you again soon. First to arrive in Jervis after a trip that didn’t take too long at all, giving us girls plenty of time to sample Husky Pub’s liquid refreshments! Very excited to get on the boat with all my new gear (courtesy of Monkey). All the dives were great, loved seeing so many sharks and my first weedy dragons. My big concern that the water would be too cold, turned out to be just fine, even at night. One of the trips highlights was the hot water hose, the most wonderful, simple experience, that could turn a loving, sharing person to be very selfish!!!! I look forward to the next trip and meeting up with the crew again, who were the best. Thanks so much for everything. Luv Amanda. Xo.

What a wonderful way to start a weekend, beautiful scenery on the way down south from Sydney. Just a few beers in the pub, before jumping aboard or a fabulous weekend of diving, and eating and yes you guessed it more diving. Such a great crew onboard and great divers, thanks we had a marvellous time. The diving was awesome, lots of everything from Port Jackson's to Rays. Thank you I look forward to the next trip, and meeting up with everyone again. Best wishes

Thanks to the crew of the Ocean Trek – the hospitality and the food!!!!! This was my first live-a-board and it was great. Saw tons of port Jackson's, rays and even an eel! Unfortunately no seals – I guess that means I will just have to come back again! Look forward to the next time and again thanks for everything!

Thanks for a great weekend. As usual, superb staff and excellent food. Loads of fish and cool swim-throughs but unfortunately no seals to play with. I expect I’ll be along again in the future and I’ll mention this trip to all my mates back home. All the best.

Thanks for a great live aboard and for going to extra lengths to cater for special dietary requirements. No complaints! All good, great atmosphere on board and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Hopefully back some day to see the seals.

My first live aboard too!! It was so great – thanks sooooooo much! The crew were fab – motivating (even at 6.30 am!!), the food was brilliant and the dives were spectacular.
