"Coupling " (my 1st Encounter)

20-24th March 2006

Last year my husband enjoyed himself so much that I decided to see for myself this year and every thing he said was true, the journey, the food, the company what more could anyone ask for ,what away to wile away the hours. The gentle rocking of the boat is a very pleasant way to put you in holiday mode. Oh what peace and quiet when the divers take to the water, but when they return the stories are great to listen to.

Hello there all you normal people! Do you need time to think? Do you feel the world could be a better place? Do you like the relaxing hobby of eating? Well come for a stay on this comfortable affordable hospitable boat. The sea life is alive and the viz vast. We have seen a BIG bull ray on nearly every dive, either swimming or sleeping. The fish just loved us and the other critters just thought we were wonderful.

So that’s my plug hope that you take the plunge!

This trip will be remembered for both good and bad thing happening. My camera flooded early in the trip BooHoo but I didn't let that spoil what developed into a magnificent trip. Great food and excellent company. Great dive sites, saw my first Big Grey Leather Jacket and squid laying eggs on a night dive. I will be back already booked for next year. Come one and all you won’t be disappointed.Jenny

Hey lets get away from it all follow this recipe; take one or more keen under water explorers add Ocean Trek, three cable and hospitable hosts, throw in heaping helping of Cookie Sue’s delightful cooking when ever your surface, a small amount of sleep, some brilliant dive sites, a little underwater current and heaps of critters then enjoy the company of total strangers who have the same idea as you, a light sprinkling of cash and voila truly the best dive holiday I have ever had just try it, you will be hooked.

Sensational again! This is my second trip with Ocean Trek and it just keeps getting better. To have my wife come along and join in the fun was amazing. As before the catering was superb and the variety of tucker that Sue keeps producing is wonderful. Lyn and Micks service and friendliness just leaves nothing to be desired. To catch up with old dive buddies and to meet new ones and share great times together makes for indelible memories of lasting happy times.

Fourth trip it gets better every time fantastic vis 30 metres great diving good mates great food from Sue and wonderful hosts in Mick and Lyn. And the giant Leather Jackets were a treat.

This my first trip and travelling alone, had a sensational time . Arrived onboard Monday evening having completed only 24 dives, disembarking Friday lunchtime having now completed 38 and a much improved diver ( mainly thanks to my patient buddy Alan). The parachute entries and giant Leather Jackets were great. Great diving, great company and excellent hosts. Thanks to everyone. I will definitely try to make trip again.

First trip with Ocean Trek but will not be the last. Wonderful marine life (above and below the water) and very different to my normal cold water diving down south. Great crew and great group of divers. Many thanks to Lyn, Sue and Mick for a memorable time. Thanks also to my dive buddy Peter for looking after me as always. And thanks to John for organizing this great trip. Harry

Jervis Bay again, OceanTrek & staff turned it on for us again. My first experience with the mysterious grey leather jackets, what a graceful , proud animal. Last year I promised myself a return trip, or two, this year the promise is the same. Thanks Cookie; food & advice as always exceeded expectations. The diving as always in Jervis Bay has been exceptional; the bottom times always seemed too short & the food too plentiful!! Back soon – Peter Bell (diver Dan to some)
