Free Willy

15-19th May 2006

A nice group from DIVE EXPERIENCE set out for a weeks worth of inter-state diving

It was my first dive outside Victoria, and I had lots of fun; ate lots, doved lots, slept lots. I had the promise of seeing a willy and it ripped out from under me by Craig’s Speedos. Loved the sharks, got to 50 dives and I’m utterly depressed at going home. 11 nudibranchs in one dive and very happy. Jess

A wonderful week complimented by wonderful crew of ocean trek Absolutely fantastic diving and food, recommend the week away to anyone . –peter

What a great week of diving. Lovely weather and excellent dive sites. Amazing array of marine life to be seen. Highlight was the Grey Nurse Sharks of course as well as the Moray Eels, Groupers, Wobbegongs and everything else. Even got to see Whales and Dolphins from the deck of the boat. Many thanks to Mick, Lyn, Warren and Sue for a fantastic week. – Dennis and Meghan.

We came we saw we conquered and boy, did we get excited – Charlie

Another fantastic Ocean Trek trip, far too much good diving and excellent food. Mick, Lyn, Warren and Sue you all rock, thankyou for looking after us so well. See you next year. Jane and Heather……….

Team Tugger returned for a another voyage with one ocean trek virgin, Nick. This was my third trip and Matt and Jodies second. As always it was a great week of eating, eating and diving. Some great photos and awesome dives with the elusive Grey Nurse but still no red Indian fish which we now have decided don’t exist and never have. Thanks to the crew, sorry about the chair but I just couldn’t control myself. Thanks again. Tom, Nick, Mat and Jodie.

First live-aboard so good Mick plus Warren looked after me great with the Nitrox .

Was a shame my computer battery went flat. Thanks Lyn for the viper, just a pity I did not no how it work, so on that night I went into deco thanks for the games of o and x. Thanks Sue for feeding me so well, I was able to drop 3kgs of lead.

Adrian.

To have a week of text book diving is unbelievable. To make a list of wants and experiences before coming onboard, and be able to cross them off and add more than you could imagine!! Hearing stories before coming had high expectations, They were blown out of the water and some (except for the pies in Holbrook!)!! Thanks, Craig and David

My first dive trip. I here with only 7 dives to my name, and have left feeling a lot more confident and experienced with 25 dives. The dive sites were great and gave me great experience under lots of different conditions. Highlights were the pygmy pipe horses, the grey nurse sharks, wobbegongs, giant cuttlefish, the dolphins, whales, seals, the squid v fish evening battle, the fantastic food from Sue (and I did test her with my dietary requirements), the great company and hosts, and I can’t forget to give special thanks to Jane & Adrian who got me through a MAJOR panic attack in a swim through at night.
