John’s Day Off 5th March 2006
It doesn’t happen very often. Robyn always makes me work in the shop …he claims. Well with outside diving ,warm water, giant grey leather jackets and 20+ mts viz. Mark and Mel had a fab time with the grey nurse sharks. All the wildlife was great and excellent food and fun, but there was some sinking issues. Thanks for having usJ It was great to have the week-end off for a change, parole is hard to get as a prisoner of Star City. As always the staff were great, the food was excellent and they even thru in great weather and great diving. As Harriet would say, I will be back. I only ever truly relax these days when underwater, so I’m giving it everything and have been diving every weekend this year. Ocean Trek was an experience I’ll be able to rave about for ages. We were welcomed aboard by the "Prolific Peggers" who didn’t stop trying to catch us out for the entire trip. The accommodations were great unless you happened to be over five foot nine and three quarter inches. Food was excellent and catered for all our special requirements. Staff were actually fairly nice in spite of all rumours to the contrary and I must say they put in their best efforts and it was appreciated, because we know we’re a bunch when we get together. Loved the diving too. Conditions were absolutley perfect. Sorry Jo. Sorry Robyn, but I think I did a great job looking after your respective husbands. I was only looking for one. Not two hand me downs. Never mind you get that. To all those who were unable to make or have never tried it before, I highly recommend it, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Jan and Bob and John. (See still looking after them writing their five lines!) Well this trip number five for me and what a weekend well I will back again and this time they changed the menu wonders will never cease .nick |
