Ten Warships 5th February 2006
We are virgin trekkers and the crew gently took us through the wonders and marvels of the bay. Great weekend – especially the food and 80s music! (thanks Hattie). Diving highlights included weedies, weedies and more weedies, along with pjs, wobbies, rays and lots of interesting and colourful macro stuff. Thanks trekkies – we’ll be back for the seals (and hot hose) in winter! Blake and Karina This was my first trip with Ocean Trek and it definitely will not be my last. The crew, the dive sites and the boat were all excellent. What can I say about Hatty’s cooking!!! Just awesome. The diving was great, albeit a little dirty, but the highlight of the trip had to be the night dive seeing Ian almost devoured by a giant squid!!! Well maybe not giant, but it left us all rolling around the sand laughing. And as for the navigation, well let me just say we made it back to the boat every time. I also have to say that Lyn and Mick run one of the most professional operations I have been associated with. Thankyou and I will definitely be back. Malcolm McPhan Another extremely professionally run ship with staff who Know their business strategy & work towards achieving it, the tanks were always filled, the food was always prepared well & the bunks were well equipped with sheets blankets & lighting. As usual Mick steered the ship well ,Lyn organised the divers with her well rehearsed pre dive spool so finally there is just one thing left to say ---COME & GET ME THE HELL OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF THE BAY –AGAIN !!!! Mark Found the miracle of Kwells, No more Chunder Chicks!!!! Will the fish forgive us?? Hattie has again blessed us with her famous muffins. Sorry fish you don’t get to try them. Thank you Rob for helping me to undreat ss again!! And what can I say about the warm showers. Andrew can take my fins anytime! Mick …. Where is the driver in the room at the pointy end of the boat?????? Thankyou Lyn for keeping us all sane!! See Ya same time, same place, and same channel 2007……Elsje
Once again a fabulous weekend our yearly ritual. Adams first time sure he’ll be back. ,great diving with mark again the crew are true gems. And finally ‘MARK DON’T PULL THE SHARKS TAIL WHEN I AM IN FRONT OF IT’ …..MEL> ‘ And again a great weekend OceanTrek was, with appearance made by Wally the groper, Barry the bull ray and Burt the blow up shark. Once again my dad (mark) got us lost on numerous occasions, though that’s prolly why we had good dives as we went to different dive spots which had great conditions. The highlight was Barry scaring us on the night dive, while mark was trying to locate his bearings and I was trying to point out the friendly Barry on top of him. See ya next year.
