Today was Better

17-18th December 2005

Blue skies shining on me nothing but blue skies did I see????? Well yes while I sat on the boat others were enjoying wizard viz and lots of critters at Cotton fields . but that’s their story. Next dive Nursery while others enjoyed seals and wobbies I took some really ordinary shots of banjo’s stingarees trigger fish in the process of getting completely lost. Whooa !!! Lets do this again!

A great trip, made all the better by good company and a great crew. The rousting clan came along, and yes we all survived to return for another great time with the team from OT. See you again soon.

After yesterday I was convinced that good visibility in JB was a myth perpetuated by Dive Boat Operators, but, in all fairness, they turned it on today on South Bowen Wall. Great vis with an abundance of fish life, some big eels and lots of little critters. The geology on this dive is quiet spectacular.

Mick & Lynn run a great operation, and the staff were top notch. I would highly recommend a few days aboard Ocean Trek in the name of stress relief. Thanks a heap guys & gals.

Second the above. Mick and Lynn and their crew are wonderful hosts. Jervis Bay is always a terrific visit, whatever you’re doing. But this diving trip was something out of the ordinary. Visibility was best on the Sunday first dive (SE Bowen Wall). The swim through the cliff cavern near Fish Rock on Saturday was memorable. Colin.

Our second great trip on Ocean Trek! Lynn and Mick were again wonderful hosts, and took us to some great sites. Need to come again soon! Andy & Lucy

Next please…..

We only come on these trips for Sue’s cooking. And diving is a really good way to work up the appetite. It is just a happy coincidence that the diving is so good. Thanks once again for Mick & Lyn’s special treatment. (Thanks for the hugs Lyn, Greg) And thanks to the rest of the crew, Warren & Andrew for all your hard work, that made our weekend a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Shelley & Greg..
